"United Nations is not being successful in protecting human rights"

"United Nations is not being successful in protecting human rights."
- Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani

On 10th December 'International Human Rights Day' observed globally. On this day, participating as the chief guest at a conference organised on the occasion of 'Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH)' and 'Fateha-e-Yazdahm' in Patiya, Chattogram  chairman of 'Bangladesh Supreme Party' Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani said that since its establishment in 1945, United Nations has been in charge of protecting human rights around the world. But it has failed to keep its promise. When people are being killed, tortured and forced to be refugees by oppressors in Myanmar, China, Kashmir, Yemen, Syria, Palestine and many other parts of the world, United Nations has not taken any effective initiative their. Despite it is an organisation of 193 countries, all power is in the hands of five 'Veto Power' countries : USA, UK, France, China and Russia. They dominate almost all activities of UN. So reformation is mandatory in United Nations to restore peace in the world.

"My father Sheikhul Islam, Hazrat Sayeed Mainuddin Ahmed Al Hasani (QSA) participated in 'Millennium World Peace Summit' in 2000 at UN headquarters and said in his address that our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH) has established a role model of global peace through 'The Charter of Medinah'. If UN really wants to establish global peace, human rights, peaceful coexistence, harmony it must have to follow the ideals of our beloved Holy Prophet (PBUH)," Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani added.

After sending salutations to beloved Prophet (PBUH), Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani prayed for the salvation of the oppressed people around the world, for global peace-harmony and prosperity of Bangladesh.
